ACCESS has mandate to provide services under two broad thematic areas of Microfinance and Livelihood. Focus areas have been chosen depending on the competence built over last seven years through the CASHE Programme to address the current urgent needs in these thematic areas. ACCESS’s positioning as a national level institution with State level operations and a capacity to provide locally relevant training at scale to various segments will make it India’s first apex capacity building institute for microfinance and livelihoods development.
